If you're a Canadian living in, or on your way to Denmark, you're welcome to Register with Allcanuck.com. There's no membership fee and we'll keep you up to date on our social events. Our only requirement is some participation and your keeness to be a part of it.

Expat campaign

The Expat in Denmark organization is running a campaign this month called "We are Not Tourists". Its purpose is to educate Danes about the value that expats bring to the country. A dedicated web site has been set up:

Dogenhagen Event, Charlottenhunde, August 22

Dogenhagen Event in Charlottenhunde (aka. Charlottenlund)
When: Sunday August 22
Where: Meet at Charlottenlund train station at 13:00
Why: Walk with the dogs, check out the local sights, run & play & conversation

The next Dogenhagen event will be in Charlottenhunde (aka. Charlottenlund) . We will meet at Charlottenlund train station and from there walk east through Charlottenlund Slotspark, then lounge on some blankets at Charlottenlund Fort. The Slotspark is leash-free, but the fort is not.

As usual, people unaccompanied by a dog are also welcome.
